Routing cables
Danger
There is a risk of falling due to slipping and trip-
ping on the ash box.
Do not stand on the ash box.
!
Please note
Incorrect wiring can damage the appliance.
Cables/leads must never touch motors or hot
parts.
Keep cables/leads away from rotating or mov-
ing parts.
Use the cable ties supplied.
Route cables so that they do not hinder any
maintenance work.
!
Please note
An incorrectly routed display ribbon cable can
cause system damage.
Do not kink or crush the ribbon cable.
Route the ribbon cable (safety extra low volt-
age, SELV) at a sufficient distance from the
mains voltage.
Pull the ribbon cable out of the control unit
enclosure as far as possible.
1. Release the screws in the casing panel of the pro-
gramming unit.
Place the casing panel with the programming unit
on the boiler.
2. Open the cover of the control unit enclosure.
3. Route the internal and external cables as follows:
Route the cables in the cable guide.
The rear cable entry is only available after the
casing has been fitted.
Cables must be fastened to the retaining plates
with cable ties.
Route 400/230 V cables and extra low voltage
(ELV) leads separately and bundle them close to
the terminals. This ensures that, in the event of a
fault, e.g. if a wire becomes detached, the wires
cannot drift into the adjacent voltage area.
4. Install other boiler accessories and connect the
corresponding cables – otherwise you will need to
remove casing panels that you have already fitted
again later.
5. Close the cover of the control unit enclosure.
6. Refit the casing panel with the programming unit.
