TRANSMISSION
24. Install the sector cover
2&
case dowel with the alignment hole. Install and
torque the bolts to specification.
TORQUE
Sector Cover Bolts:
10 ft-lbs (14 Nm)
25. Install the transmission drain plug and torque to
specification.
TORQUE
Fill / Drain Plug:
12 ft-lbs (16 Nm)
26. Install the bellcrank onto the shift shaft. Note the key
splined on the bellcrank and shift shaft. Install the nut
and torque to specification.
TORQUE
Bellcrank Nut:
14 ft-lbs (19 Nm)
27. Refer to Transmission Installation page
complete the repair.

TRANSMISSION INSTALLATION

1. With the help of an assistant, position the
transmission into the vehicle frame through the left
rear wheel well area. Slide transmission towards rear
of the vehicle and rotate the top of the transmission
toward the right side of the vehicle.
2. Install rear transmission mount to the frame bracket.
Torque fasteners to specification.
TORQUE
Rear Transmission Mount Bracket Fasteners:
22 lb-ft (30 Nm)
3. Install transmission isolator fastener through the
transmission bracket and isolator. Torque fastener to
specification.
TORQUE
Rear Transmission Isolator Fastener:
40 lb-ft (54 Nm)
