Displays current status of user password
(Enabled or Disabled). See "Using the User

Displays current status of the administra-
tive password (Enabled or Disabled). See
"Using the Administrative Password Fea-
ture" in Chapter 4 of the User's Guide.
Displays a dialog box for entering a new
user password (up to 7 alphanumeric char-
acters). See "Using the User Password
Feature" in Chapter 4 of the User's Guide.
Displays a dialog box for entering a new
administrative password (up to 7 alphanu-
meric characters). See "Using the
Administrative Password Feature" in
Chapter 4 of the User's Guide.
Enables or disables (default) the system to
be booted without entering a password.
Keyboard and mouse remain locked until
the user password is entered.
Permits specifying a key combination that
secures system immediately. Key combina-
tion set through the system setup program
or the system configuration utility.
Permits specifying a time limit of 1 to 127 min-
utes in 1-minute increments. If no keyboard or
mouse activity occurs by end of interval, key-
board and mouse will be locked until user
password is entered. Default is 10 minutes.
The following three security features also
controlled by the Keyboard Inactivity
Timer category.
If Enabled, the video display turns blank
after the time interval specified in the Key-
board Inactivity Timer category. Default is
Disabled.
