Setting the Paper Thickness Lever

The paper thickness lever adjusts the gap between the print head and the print media
to suit the print media's thickness. Before printing, be sure to set the paper thickness
lever.
For details on which position to set the paper thickness lever for the print media you
are using, 1 p. 5-2.

If the paper thickness lever is not set correctly before printing, smudging and poor print
quality may result.
The paper thickness lever is located on the right side of the unit.

Loading Paper

You can load paper in the multi-purpose tray to feed it automatically into the MultiPASS.

You can also load other types of print media in the multi-purpose tray. (1 p. 5-2)
