Changing the wheel and raising the vehicle

Too low a tightening torque may cause the wheel to disengage

Too high a tightening torque can damage the threads and

cause the rim to deform.

Release screws

If the vehicle has covers over the wheel bolts or wheel trims,
remove them.
WARNING
If you step on the key end when loosening the screw, hold on

to the vehicle for better stability.
Some vehicles may have anti-theft
wheel bolts that protect the wheels
from theft.

Insert the upper section on the an-
ti-theft wheel bolt until it stops.

Place the key on the wheel bolt or
on the attachment piece.
›
Turn the screw a maximum of half
a turn so that the wheel does not
come loose and fall off.
