Functionality
Control box
Through the control box, the charging plug is de-energised until
it is plugged into the charging socket of the vehicle.
When the charging cable is connected to the power outlet, the
control box automatically carries out a self-test. All warning and
indicator lights illuminate briefly and go out one after the other.

The charging current limitation helps in preventing overheating
of the charging cable for instance.
