Driveline Hook-up to Tractor Power Take-off Shaft

Refer to Figure 1-18:
7.
Start pushing the driveline collar (A) onto the tractor
power take-off shaft (B).
8. Release the push button or pull collar and continue to
push the driveline collar forward until the button or
pull collar pops out and locks in place in groove (E)
on the power take-off shaft.
9. Pull on driveline collars at both ends of the driveline
to ensure they are secured to the tractor's power
take-off shaft and to the mower's gearbox input shaft.

Refer to Figure 1-19:
10. If included, remove and discard driveline shield
safety chains (A) on both ends of the driveline.
11. Check to ensure the inner and outer driveline shields
rotate freely and independently.
12. Continue with "Hydraulic Hook-up" on page 24.
