Selecting SmartMedia/
CompactFlash Memory Card
The following procedure explains how to select the media
which images are to be stored on. Select media before taking
your pictures.

Set the mode dial to "P", "A" or "M".

Press the [SM/CF] button.
The media displayed on the control panel will change
back and forth between "SM" (SmartMedia) and "CM"
(CompactFlash) every time the button is pressed.
Select the media for storing the images.
NOTE
• If the selected media card is full, "0" is displayed on the
control panel. If both a SmartMedia card and a
CompactFlash memory card are loaded in the camera,
change to the other card using the [SM/CF] button. Cards
cannot be changed automatically. If only one card is
loaded in the camera, change it with a card with sufficient
available space.

Appuyer sur la touche [SM/CF].
L'affichage du support sur l'écran de commande se
déplacera en arrière puis en avant entre "SM"
(SmartMedia) et "CM" (CompactFlash) chaque fois que
l'on appuiera sur la touche.
Sélectionner le support approprié pour l'enregistrement
des images.
Si une seule carte est mise en place, cette commutation
n'est pas possible.
REMARQUE
• Si la carte de support sélectionnée est pleine, un "0" clig-
notant est affiché sur l'écran de commande. Si la carte
SmartMedia ainsi que la carte de mémoire CompactFlash
sont toutes deux chargées dans l'appareil, changer sur
l'autre carte en utilisant la touche [SM/CF]. Les cartes ne
peuvent être changées automatiquement. Si une seule
carte est chargée dans l'appareil, la changer avec une
carte présentant un espace disponible suffisant.

Die nachfolgenden Anweisungen erläutern die Wahl des
Mediums, das zur Speicherung der Abbildungsdaten verwen-
det werden soll. Vor dem Fotografieren muß daher das
gewünschte Medium gewählt werden.

Das Modus-Einstellrad auf P, A oder M stellen.

Die [SM/CF]-Taste drücken.
Die Medium-Anzeige am Bedienfeld ändert sich bei
jedem Drücken der Taste von "SM" (SmartMedia) zu
"CM" (CompactFlash) und umgekehrt.
Das Medium für das Abspeichern der Bilder wählen.
HINWEIS
• Wenn die gewählte Karte voll ist, wird eine blinkende "0"
am Bedienfeld angezeigt. Wenn sowohl eine SmartMedia-
als auch eine CompactFlash-Karte in die Kamera ein-
gelegt wurden, kann die andere Karte mit Hilfe der
[SM/CF]-Taste gewählt werden. Das Umschalten auf eine
andere Karte geschieht nicht automatisch. Wenn nur eine
Karte in der Kamera zur Verfügung steht, muß die Karte
gegen eine andere ausgetauscht werden, die noch ausre-
ichend Speicherkapazität aufweist.
