Formatting SmartMedia/
CompactFlash Memory Cards
The below procedure explains how to format SmartMedia and
CompactFlash memory cards. Before using cards that have
been formatted by a personal computer or by a digital cam-
era that we did not manufacture, please reformat them using
the C-2500L. If trouble occurs, reformat the card. When a
card is reformatted, all data on it is erased.
NOTE
• When the write-protect adhesive seal is placed on the
SmartMedia, you can't format it.
• Formatting erases images that have been protected

Set the mode dial to

Press the [SM/CF] button and select the card to for-
mat.

Press the [ ] button.
The first menu will appear on the LCD monitor.

Align the cursor with "SM SETUP" with the top / bot-
tom point of the jog dial.

Select with the right / left point of the jog dial.

Press the [OK] button.
The confirmation screen will be displayed.

SmartMedia/carte mémoire
CompactFlash
La procédure ci-dessous explique comment formater les
cartes mémoire CompactFlash et SmartMedia. Avant
d'utiliser des cartes qui ont été formatées avec un ordinateur
personnel ou un appareil photo numérique que nous n'avons
pas fabriqué, les reformater en utilisant le C-2500L. Si un
problème survenait avec l'une d'elles, reformater la carte.
Lorsqu'une carte est reformatée, toutes les données de la
carte sont effacées.
REMARQUE
• Si une bande adhésive pour la protection contre l'écriture
est collée sur la carte SmartMedia, celle-ci n'est pas refor-
matable.
• Le formatage efface toutes les images qui ont été pro-
tégées .

Régler la molette de mode sur

Appuyer sur la touche [SM/CF] et choisir la carte à
formater.

Appuyer sur la touche [
Le premier menu apparaîtra sur l'écran ACL.

Aligner le curseur avec "SM SETUP" en appuyant sur
les points supérieur et inférieur de la molette de
défilement.

Sélectionner avec les points de droite et de
gauche de la molette de défilement.

Appuyer sur le bouton de confirmation [OK].
L'écran de confirmation apparaîtra.

Formatieren der SmartMedia-/
CompactFlash-Karten
Nachstehend wird erläutert, wie die SmartMedia- bzw.
CompactFlash-Karten formatiert werden können. Vor der
Verwendung von Karten, die mit einem PC oder einer
Digitalkamera eines anderen Herstellers formatiert wurden,
müssen diese Karten erneut unter Verwendung der C-2500L
formatiert werden. Im Falle einer Funktionsstörung mit einer
dieser Karten muß die Karte neu formatiert werden.
Allerdings werden hierbei alle auf der Karte aufgezeichneten
Daten gelöscht.
HINWEIS:
• Wenn die SmartMedia-Karte mit einem Löschschutz-
Aufkleber versehen ist, kann keine Formatierung durchge-
führt werden.
• Beim Formatieren werden auch solche Abbildungen
gelöscht, die mit einer Löschschutzmarkierung
hen wurden.

Das Modus-Einstellrad auf

Die [SM/CF]-Taste drücken und die zu formatierende
Karte wählen.

Die [ ]-Taste drücken.
Das erste Menü erscheint am LCD-Monitor.

Den Cursor mit dem oberen bzw. unteren
Jogreglersegment auf SM SETUP ausrichten.

Die Position mit dem rechten bzw. linken
Jogreglersegment wählen.

Die [OK]-Taste drücken.
Es wird die Bestätigungsmeldung gezeigt.
