4-6. BU Assembly Sled Motor

Note
Before starting the work, be sure to refer to "1-13. Cautions on Handling the Optical Block Assembly".
Tip
This unit has two sled motors. The replacement procedure is the same.
Preparation
1. Remove the front panel assembly. (Refer to "4-2-1. Front Panel Assembly".)
2. Remove the rear panel. (Refer to "4-2-2. Rear Panel".)
3. Remove the loader assembly. (Refer to "4-3. Loader Assembly".)
4. Remove the optical block assembly. (Refer to "4-5. Optical Block Assembly".)
Procedure
1. Disconnect the FPC BD-SE1004 from the connector (CN1004) on the SE-1004A board.
2. Disconnect the FPC BD-SE1005 from the connector (CN1005) on the SE-1005A board.
Note
Do not disconnect flexible cable not listed in the above procedure.
