6-4-4. LOADER
Check the following operations of the loader individually.
•
Transition to DOWN position after the cartridge is inserted.
•
Transition from DOWN position to EJECT position
•
Transition from DOWN position to STBY position
•
Transition from STBY position to EJECT position
•
Transition from STBY position to DOWN position
Note
Confirm that the loader is properly installed in the optical drive, and then start checking.

Sensor hole
Indication of SENSOR HOLE in the menu window varies depending on the type of cartridge to be
inserted.
•
When a 23.3 GB SL disc such as PFD23A is inserted, "SENSOR HOLE 2 3 4" is displayed.
•
When a 50 GB DL disc such as PFD50DLA is inserted, "SENSOR HOLE 3 4" is displayed.
•
When a 100 GB TL disc such as PFD100TLA is inserted, "SENSOR HOLE 2 4" is displayed.
•
When a 128 GB QL disc such as PFD128QLW is inserted, "SENSOR HOLE 4" is displayed.
If another message appears, the detection sensor may be out of order. Check the detection sensor.
