6-1. Overview
This unit has a maintenance menu helpful for maintenance.
The PDW-U1 service software is required to display the maintenance menu. (For details, refer to "6-2.
Starting the Maintenance Menu".)
The maintenance menu is displayed on a personal computer connected to the unit.

6-2. Starting the Maintenance Menu
Equipment

Personal computer (PC) equipped with USB ports
Note
Prepare a PC that meets the conditions described in the Operating Instructions.

USB cable (supplied with the unit)
•
PDW-U1 service software: PDW-U1 Service Software.zip
This software is commonly used for the PDW-U1, PDW-U2, and PDW-U4.
Tip
For obtaining the PDW-U1 service software, contact your local Sony Sales Office/Service Center.
This software is supplied in a ZIP file. Copy this file to an arbitrary folder of the PC.
Preparation
1. Extract the [PDW-U1 Service Software.zip] of the PDW-U1 service software.
2. Place the [PDW-U1 Service Software] folder in an arbitrary location of the PC.
