5�4 Assembling the charging
station
Assembling the charging station takes place in
reverse order to 5.3 Dismantling the charging
station on page 52.
5�5 Circuit board replacement,
charging station
1.
Disconnect the transformer.
2.
Turn the charging station upside down
and remove the four screws (Torx 20) for
the cover. Turn the charging station back
to its correct side and then lift up the
cover.
3.
Remove the contact piece from the
charging station's circuit board.
4.
Unscrew the two screws, (Torx 20) that
attach the holders for the circuit board.

5.
Replace the circuit board.
6.
Place the card in the charging station, put
the circuit board holders in place and secure
them with the screws (Torx 20).
7.
Fit the cover on the charging station and
secure it with the screws (Torx 20).
8.
To synchronise the mower with the new
circuit board; place the mower in the charging
station and select Security - New loop signal
(3-3) and press OK.
5�6 Replacing the contact strips,
charging station
When the mower's battery does not recharge, or
the mower does not make contact with the charging
station, it may be due to worn contact strips in
the charging station. The contact strips should
be replaced when blackened or if there is oxide.
Also check the charging strips on the mower, see
5.7 Replacing charging strips on page 54.
1.
Disconnect the transformer.
2.
Unscrew the four screws (Torx 20) for the
cover on the underside of the charging station
and then lift up the cover.
3.
Unscrew the two screws (Torx 20) that attach
both the cable lugs and the contact strips.
4.
Replacing the contact strips. Also check that
the cable lugs are free of damage and oxides.
5.
Assemble contact strip, cable lugs and the
charging station's cover.
NOTE! Check that the cables to the contact
strips are secure in their grooves. This
ensures that the cables are not pinched or
damaged when the cover is fitted.
