If the guide wire must be laid in a passage:
Automower® 305 follows the guide wire on the
same side as the wire to and from the charging
station. This means that the guide wire is to the
right of the mower on its way to the charging
station and to the left of the mower on its way
from the station.
In the passage, the guide wire must be
placed so that the mower has enough
space to operate in. The distance between
the boundary wire and the guide wire
should be at least 30 cm.
The same shortest distance (30 cm) also
applies to the distance between the guide
wire and the guide wire in the passage if
the guide wire is laid back and forth through
the passage.
The guide wire must the connected to the charging
station. If it is laid at a right angle in the working
area in an area in front of the charging station,
the distances in the following illustration must be
observed.

If the mower collides with any obstacle while it
follows the guide wire to the charging station, it will
turn away from the guide wire and again try to find
the guide wire. It then decides to follow the guide
wire at another distance.
If the mower collides with any obstacle while it
follows along the guide wire via Remote start, it will
change direction and begin mowing.
Use a regular boundary wire as a guide wire. There
are three different models.
The guide wire must be connected to the boundary
wire using the original coupler. See illustration
