642 Blue flashing light
Most likely a break in the boundary wire. Measure the
resistance in the boundary wire using a multimeter.
Disconnect all cables from the charging station during
measuring. The resistance value for a non-defective
boundary wire should be between 0-20 Ohm.
Value >20 Ohm: Indicates a break in the
boundary wire. Identify and repair the break,
see 6.5 Finding breaks in the boundary wire
on page 78.
Value <20 Ohm: Indicates that the boundary
wire is intact. Check instead the connections
to the charging station. Replace the circuit
board in the charging station if the fault
remains, see 5.5 Replacing the circuit board,
charging station on page 53.
643 Continuous blue light
The boundary wire is probably too long. If the
boundary wire is longer than 250 meters, the
strength can start to drop even if it is still sufficient.
For installations that need a longer boundary wire
one of Husqvarna's other robotic lawnmowers is
recommended. These can manage a boundary
wire of up to 500 metres (800 metres with signal
amplifier).
644 Yellow flashing light
Most likely a break in the guide wire. Measure the
resistance in the guide wire using a multimeter. The
guide wire comprises the guide wire plus the part
of the boundary wire that constitutes the return line
for the guide signal. Disconnect all cables from the
charging station during measuring. The resistance
value for a non-defective guide wire should be
between 0-20 Ohm.
Value >20 Ohm: Indicates a break in the
boundary wire. Identify and repair the break,
see 6.5 Finding breaks in the boundary wire.
Value <20 Ohm: Indicates that the loop is
intact. Check instead the connections to the
charging station. Replace the circuit board
in the charging station if the fault remains,
see 5.5 Replacing the circuit board, charging
station on page 53.
6 TROUBLE SHOOTING
645 Red flashing light
Probably an interruption in the F loop in the
charging station's antenna plate.
1.
Place the charging station upside down and
look for visible damage to the F loop.
2.
Remove the charging station's cover and
disconnect the contact piece from the circuit
board. Measure the resistance between the
two pins in the cabling's contact piece that
has white cables connected to it.
- Value >20 Ohm: Indicates an interruption
in the F-loop. Replace the charging
station's cabling.
- Value < 20 ohm: Indicates that the F-lop is
intact. Replace the charging station's circuit
board. 5.5 Replacing the circuit board,
charging station on page 53.
646 Continuous red light
Probably a fault in the circuit board in the charging
station. Replace the circuit board in the charging
station, see 5.5 Replacing circuit board, charging
station on page 53.
