6� TROUBLE SHOOTING
Grass or another object has
wrapped around the drive
wheel.
Grass or another object
may have become wrapped
around the blade disc.
The blade motor is defective.
The control box is defective.
The cabling to the blade
motor is damaged or
defective.
Grass or another object has
wrapped around the blade
disc.
The blade disc is in a pool of
water.
Guide cable broken.
The connection between the
Automower® 305 and the
charging station has broken
down.
The boundary wire is laid in
the wrong direction around
an island.
The transformer is not
connected.
Disturbances from
metal objects (fences,
reinforcement steel) or
buried cables close by.
Check the drive wheel and remove
the grass or other object.
Check the blade disc and remove the
grass or other object.
Check that the blade motor has the
right rotation speed. See Motors
(5-3-1).
Replace the control box. See
5.9 Replacing the control box on
page 55.
Check whether the damage is
repairable. Otherwise change the
blade motor.
Check the blade disc and remove the
grass or other object.
Move the mower and remedy the
cause of there being pools of water in
the working area.
Check the signal given by the LED
on the charging station. See 6.5
Finding breaks in the boundary wire
on page 78.
Park the Automower® 305 in the
charging station and generate a new
loop signal with the function New loop
signal (3-3).
Check that the boundary wire
has been laid according to the
instructions in chapter 3.2.1 Laying
out the boundary wire on page 25.
Check the mains socket connection
and whether the miniature circuit-
breaker has tripped. Check that the
low voltage cable is connected to the
charging station.
Try moving the boundary wire and/
or creating additional islands in the
working area.
