6.2 Data logger site equipment

If connecting to CS I/O port:
SC12 cable (preferred for CR1000X series, CR6 series, CR1000, CR3000, CR800 series,
CR5000, and GRANITE 6/9/10 data loggers ) — connects the module to current data
logger with a CS I/O port. See
SC105 Interface — connects the module to any data logger with a CS I/O port. It must
be configured using Device Configuration Utility. Settings should be:

If connecting to RS-232 port:
Null Modem Cable (9 pin, male-to-male) — connects the module to the CR300 series,
CR1000, CR3000, CR800 series, and CR200(X) series RS-232 port.
CPI/RS-232 RJ45 to DB9 Cable — connects the module to the CR6 series or CR1000X
series CPI/RS-232 port.
Antenna – the following antennas are available from Campbell Scientific for use in

application.
ANT-RV50(X)/CELL220-ENC-0.6M: This is an enclosure-mounted low-profile

multiband MIMO antenna suitable for use with 3G and 4G devices including LTE
Band 28, also known as Telstra 4GX. Nominal gain is about 4.5 to 6 dBi. This is
recommended for all pre-wired systems supplied by Campbell Scientific including a
