Clean the print head with a cleaning sheet. *
Align the rough side of the cleaning sheet * adjacent to the print head.
Using the cleaning sheet

Open the top cover, and remove the label and carbon ribbon
to expose the print head.

Place the cleaning sheet * between the print head and platen
roller, and close the top cover.

Pull the cleaning sheet * with both hands away from the printer.
Repeat these steps twice or thrice to clear waste from the print
head. If some waste still remains, repeat these steps several
more times.
* The cleaning sheet is optional. Contact your SATO reseller or technical support cen-
ter to purchase it.
