In the Following Cases
If the printer does not work as you intend or the print out is not satisfactory, check
the following items.
The indicator does not light even though the printer is turned on.

Is the power cord fully connected
to the AC outlet?

Is the power cord fully connected
to the printer?

Is the power cord damaged?

Is electricity being supplied to
the AC outlet that supplies power
to the printer?

Is the fuse blown or the circuit
breaker tripped in your building?
CAUTION
• Do not operate the power switch or unplug the power cord with wet hands.
Doing so could cause electric shock.
Connect again the power cord fully to the AC outlet.
Connect again the power cord fully to the DC input
connector of the printer.
Use a new power cord.
Purchase a new power cord certainly exclusively for
the printer from the SATO reseller where you
purchased the printer. Be absolutely sure not to use
any power cord other than one exclusively made for
the printer.
Check the source of the AC outlet. If there is no
problem in the source, check if electricity is supplied to
the whole building where you use the printer. Also
check if there is a power failure.
Replace the fuse of the building, or set the circuit
breaker to ON.
