Close the top cover.
Press the points on the top,
as shown by the arrows, until
the top cover closes with a
click.
Setup of the carbon ribbon is complete.
Replacement of the Carbon Ribbon
When the printer is in the middle of printing, replace it while the power is on.
CAUTION
Be careful not to touch the upper blade of the cutter to avoid being hurt when you
set the ribbon unit inside the top cover.

Open the top cover and draw the ribbon unit forward.

 Press the used carbon
ribbon (in the front) toward
the right, and  lift and
remove it from the left side.

Remove the ribbon core (in
the back) by the same
procedure as step 2.

Insert the ribbon core removed in step 3 and a new carbon
ribbon in the printer. (
