Pass the carbon ribbon from
the ribbon supply (in the
back) under the print head to
reach the ribbon rewinder (in
the front).
Make sure to pass the carbon ribbon
between the print head and the label
stopper. Do not pass under the label
stopper.

Attach the carbon ribbon to
the ribbon core with adhesive
tape or the like, and wind
them in the direction of the
arrow a few rounds.

Set the ribbon unit inside the
top cover.
CAUTION
• Be sure to set the ribbon unit inside the top cover first then close the top cover. If
you close only the ribbon unit, the top cover may not close properly.
• Be careful not to touch the upper blade of the cutter to avoid being hurt when you
set the ribbon unit inside the top cover.
