* The printer cleaning kit is optional. Contact your SATO reseller or technical support
center to purchase it.

• Disconnect the power cord from the AC outlet before cleaning.

Check that the media and carbon ribbon are loaded
correctly.
Also open the top cover and load the media and
carbon ribbon again to put them in the correct
position.
If the platen roller is dirty, wipe it with the printer
cleaning kit. * See "Daily Cleaning". (
If the fringe of the media or carbon ribbon became
misshapen, it cannot be fed correctly. Use media or
carbon ribbon that is not misshapen.
Use genuine media and carbon ribbon for the
printer.
If the media sensor is dirty, wipe it with the printer
cleaning kit. *
See "Daily Cleaning." (
Power on the printer again.
If the same message still appears, check the
c o n t e n t s s e n t f r o m t h e c o m p u t e r o r t h e
communication condition.
Set again the contents of the pitch correction or
base point correction (print setting).
