Loosen the 2 knobs that secure the speed bar

Adjust the position of the speed bar as follows:
Move the speed bar forward to increase the
maximum forward speed of the machine.
Move the speed bar rearward to decrease
the maximum forward speed of the machine.

Tighten the 2 knobs that secure the speed bar

and push the speed bar forward

Push the motion-control lever forward, and
measure the distance between the speed bar
and motion control lever
Note:
The motion-control linkage is correctly
adjusted when the gap between the lever and
bar is 102 mm (4 inches).
