6A-2. Exposure Lamp Replacement [FT3020]
CAUTION: * To avoid warping the scanner, move
it by pushing or pulling the wire
clamp or drive wire only.
* Do not handle the exposure lamp with
your bare hands. Use a strip of
paper as shown. (Finger oil marks on
the lamp or reflectors will be affected
by heat, resulting in discoloration.)

Remove the exposure glass and the top cover
(10 screws).

Move the scanner to the middle.

Swing the reflector cover away from the
reflector and remove the rear terminal cover (2
screws, 1 flathead screw).
4.
Reset the reflector cover without screws and
move the scanner to the left (as viewed from
the rear) until the lamp is opposite the hole in
the optics unit frame.
