[Transfer and Separation Coronas]

* Adjustment Standards:
Transfer Corona; DC +15.2 ± 0.6µA
Separation Corona; AC 25.1 ± 1.5µA
DC -0.6 +0.25 µA
1. Position the drum shoe so that the current
sensing plate faces down vertically.
NOTE: Measure both the transfer and separation
currents with the shoe at the same posi-
tion.
2. Select the DC µA range of the digital
multimeter, and turn on DIP SW #2 on the
switching board.
3 . Turn on the main switch and adjust the
transfer corona current by turning "VR.T" on
the T/S power pack.
NOTE: Wait 20 seconds for the corona current to
stabilize.
