6A-4. Scanner Drive Wire Replacement
[FT3020]
1. Take off the Top cover (8 short screws) and
left cover (3 screws).
2. Remove the rear cover (2 screws) and the
main PCB (2 screws, 4 connectors).
3. Remove the following parts:
* Exhaust fan (3 screws)
* Inlet cooling fan (4 screws, connectors as
necessary)
* Transformer (2 screws)
– just swing to the right on the bracket.
* Scanner brake belt
* Scanner brake pulley (1 E-ring, 1 parallel key)
* Pulley shaft support plate (2 screws)
4. Loosen the wire clamp and take off the old
wire.
