Pick-off jam
1.
Clean the separation corona wire and set the T/S corona unit correctly.
2. Adjust the transfer/separation corona currents.
•
Transfer Corona ; DC + 14.6
• Separation Corona ; AC 25.1 ± 1.5 µA
3.
Check pick-off pawl operation.
4. Check the surface condition of the pick-off pawls. Replace if necessary.
5.
Check the condition of the paper the customer is using.
• Make sure the paper has no curl and is dry.
• Advise the customer to use a type of paper that has the fiber oriented
lengthwise. (This will help to reduce the number of jams due to paper
curl.)
