2. Charging a Battery

1. Inserting a Battery

. Open the battery cover.
1) Slide the lever of the battery cover .
2) Open the battery cover .

. Insert a battery.
1) Insert a battery from the metal side.

. Close the cover.
1) Close the battery cover .
2) Slide the lever of the battery cover with the battery
cover pressed shut .

2. Charging the Battery

. Connect the AC adapter.
Connect the DC plug to the printer and the AC plug to
the AC outlet.

CAUTION
The attached AC adapter is exclusive for this printer. It must
not be used with any other electric device. If an AC adapter
other than the supplied one is connected to this printer, it
may cause a malfunction. Do not use it.

. Start charging.
During charging, do not power down the printer.
