■ Conditions Not to Transit to the Energy
Saving Mode
• Print cancel screen, default mode, test print mode,
maintenance mode, and download mode.
• USB is selected for INTERFACE SETTING.
• The temperature in the printer is lower than –2°C.
• Receiving data (print data that have not been printed
remain in the printer)
• The AC adapter is not connected and the printer is in
low-battery status (Error 41).
• No battery is installed (Error 42).
• The temperature in the printer is outside the acceptable
range (Error 45).
■ Conditions to Return from the Energy
Saving Mode.
• When the cover is closed and opened.
• When receiving data
• When a button is pressed
• If a button is pressed in energy saving mode, the printer
does not return from the energy saving mode. First return
to normal mode then press a button again.
