Counter blade system
The drum reverses after every job to remove toner stuck on the
blade.

A counter blade cleans more effectively.
The drum turns anti-clockwise as seen in this diagram.
Also, remember the Drum Set Mode procedure (SP 2923) during installation, in
which the cleaning blade is kept away from the drum while the drum is coated
with toner. This lubricates the tip of the cleaning blade to prevent it from flipping
over when the drum turns against it.
This must also be done after a new drum or cleaning blade is installed.
In the diagram, the circular object below the cleaning blade is not touching the
drum. It is the toner collection coil drive gear.
