2. Lower the fan bracket into the chassis.
3. Align the holes in the bottom of the bracket with the pins in the bottom of the
chassis.
4. Press the bracket into position until the fan-bracket release levers click into
place.
5. Replace the fans, as described in "Installing a hot-swap fan" on page 134.
6. Replace the PCI riser card assemblies, as described in "Installing a PCI
riser-card assembly" on page 100.
7. Replace the DIMM air baffle, as described in "Installing the DIMM air baffle"
on page 94.
8. Install the cover, as described in "Installing the cover" on page 84.
9. Slide the file module into the rack.
10. Reconnect the external cables; then, reconnect the power cords and turn on
the peripheral devices and the file module.
Note: You must wait approximately 2.5 minutes after you connect the power
cord of the file module to an electrical outlet before the power-control button
becomes active.

Removing the IBM virtual media key

The following procedure is for a Tier 1 customer replaceable unit (CRU).
Replacement of Tier 1 CRUs is your responsibility. If IBM installs a Tier 1 CRU at
your request, you will be charged for the installation. Service agreements can be
purchased so that you can ask IBM to replace these units.
Note: Before running a procedure, refer to "Removing a file module to perform a
maintenance action" on page 51.
To remove a virtual media key, complete the following procedure.
