The image data from the SBU goes to the IPU (Image Processing Unit) IC on the
SBICU board, which carries out the following processes on the image data.
1. Auto shading
2. Text/Photo separation
3. Background/Independent dot erase
4. Filtering (MTF and smoothing)
5. Magnification
6. γ correction
7. Grayscale processing
8. Error diffusion
9. Dithering
10. Video path control
11. Test pattern generation
