Disassembly Instructions

WARNING
2. Disconnect gas supply to oven.
3. Remove oven doors and oven racks.
4. Remove oven from enclosure.
5. Remove center side panel retaining screws. Re-
move panel.
6. Remove two screws securing solenoid mounting
bracket to oven top.
7. Disconnect solenoid wiring. Remove solenoid and
bracket assembly.
Important Note: If solenoid plunger must be re-
placed, refer to lower oven door lock removal proce-
dures and follow steps five through 13. After sole-
noid lever is removed, unscrew the lock nut and bolt
securing plunger to solenoid lever.

Broil Ignitor

1. Shut off power and gas supply to oven.
2. Remove oven doors and oven racks.
3. Unscrew broil ignitor wire cover mounting screw.
Remove cover.
4. Remove two broil ignitor mounting screws. Pull igni-
tor leads and connectors into oven cavity through
hole in broil chamber.
5. Disconnect ignitor wiring.

Broil Burner

1. Shut off power and gas supply to oven.
2. Remove oven doors and oven racks.
3. Remove two broil ignitor mounting screws. Remove
ignitor from broiler burner.
4. Remove broil burner mounting screw securing
burner to burner bracket.
5. Move burner up against burner bracket. Push
burner towards rear of oven. Slide broiler burner out
of broil chamber.

Oven Burner Ignitor

1. Shut off power and gas supply to oven.
2. Remove oven doors and oven racks.
3. Remove oven bottom by pushing it slightly towards
rear, lighting from front and sliding it out of oven.
4. Remove two screws securing ignitor bracket to
back burner box. Remove screw securing ignitor to
bake burner.
5. Pull ignitor leads and connectors through opening.
Disconnect ignitor wiring.

Oven Burner

1. Shut off power and gas supply to oven.

2. Disconnect gas supply to oven.
3. Remove oven doors and oven racks.
4. Remove oven from enclosure.
5. Remove oven cabinet top.
6. The self-clean relay is mounted to the right control
compartment side panel. Remove upper and lower
relay mounting screws.
7. Disconnect relay wiring one at a time. Reconnect
wiring to appropriate terminal on replacement relay.

Oven Liner

1. Disconnect both electric and gas supplies to oven.
2. Remove oven doors and oven racks.
3. Remove oven bottom and door.
4. Remove thermostat capillary bracket. Pull capillary
tube through side of oven.
5. Remove oven light cover, bulb and socket.
6. Remove bake burner and ignitor.
7. Remove bake burner chamber.
8. Remove broil burner ignitor and broil burner cham-
ber.
9. Remove front chip cover.
10. Remove cabinet back.
11. Remove two screws securing oven liner to insula-
tion retainer (rear).
12. Pull oven liner out.
When reinstalling new liner, use flat sheet metal strips
4 x 28 inches to prevent insulation from "bunching up"
as new liner is installed. Note the following illustrations.

CAUTION
When removing oven liner be certain not to dis-
lodge the broil air duct on the right side of the
cabinet. If the air duct is dislodged, the broiler
burner will not function as it will disrupt the flow of
air to the broiler, resulting in poor air-gas mixture.
