Disassembly Instructions

WARNING

Door Lock

1. Shut off power to oven.
2. Remove control panel glass and control panel
mounting bracket.
3. Unscrew two wire terminal shield retaining screws.
Remove shield.
4. Remove latch lever retaining screws. Remove lever.
5. Disconnect switch wiring at terminal plug block.
6. Remove two screws securing solenoid lever swivel
bracket to oven top. Slide lever off of door lock.
7. Remove four screws securing door latch bracket to
oven top.
8. Move door latch bracket towards the front of oven
frame approximately 1/4-inch to release latch
bracket rear flange from oven top.
9. Lift door latch bracket at rear flange. Slide assem-
bly towards rear of oven, pulling latch arm through
hole in front frame.
10. Remove four screws securing latch switches to
door lock.
11. Unscrew three screws and nuts securing door lock
to bracket. Remove lock.

Door Lock Solenoid

1. Shut off power to oven.
2. Remove control panel glass and control panel
mounting bracket.
3. Remove two screws securing solenoid lever swivel
bracket to oven top. Slide solenoid plunger out of
solenoid.
4. Remove screw and nut securing plunger to solenoid
lever.
5. Loosen solenoid bracket mounting screws.
6. Remove two screws securing solenoid to solenoid
bracket.
7. Disconnect solenoid wiring. Remove solenoid.

1. Shut off power to oven.
2. Disconnect gas supply to oven.
3. Remove oven doors and oven racks.
4. Remove oven from enclosure.
5. Remove door latch handle retaining screw. Remove
handle.
6. Remove three center trim retaining screws. Slide
trim over lock lever.
7. Remove three bottom trim retaining screws. Re-
move bottom trim.
8. Remove three lower screws from left and right side
oven trims.
9. Upper and lower front frames are mounted together
by left and right front oven supports and four
screws. Remove lower screw from each front oven
support.
10. Upper and lower ovens must be partially separated
to access door lock, switches, solenoid lever and
other related parts. Lift upper oven and insert a
spacer approximately four-inches wide between up-
per and lower ovens.
11. Remove two wire shield mounting screws. Remove
shield.
12. Remove two latch lever mounting screws. Remove
lever.
13. Remove two screws securing solenoid lever swivel
bracket to oven top. Slide solenoid plunger out of
solenoid. Remove lever and solenoid plunger as-
sembly.
14. Disconnect switch wiring at terminal block.
15. Remove four door latch bracket mounting screws.
Move door latch towards front frame approximately
1/4-inch to release latch bracket rear flange from
oven top. Lift latch bracket at rear. Slide latch arm
through hole in front frame. Remove latch assembly
from oven.
Lower Oven Momentary and Door Lock
Switch
1. Follow steps one through 11 of lower oven door lock
removal procedure.
2. Remove two screws securing defective door latch
switch to door lock.
3. Disconnect defective switch wiring. Remove switch.
Lower Oven Door Lock Solenoid
1. Shut off power to oven.
