General Use and Oven Controls

Clock and Timer Instructions

Setting Time of Day
Press and hold the MIN/SEC TIMER button and the
COOK TIME button. Turn SET TIME knob to correct
time of day.
Setting the Timer
Push the MIN/SEC TIMER button. Turn the SET TIME
knob to desired time.
The timer can be set up to 99 minutes. An arrow ap-
pears above MIN/SEC TIMER in the display indicating
timer is in use. When time elapses, a signal sounds
and the arrow disappears from the display.
Cancel the Timer Signal
Push the MIN/SEC TIMER button.
Cancel the Timer with Time Remaining
Turn the SET TIME knob until the clock displays 0:00.
Time of day returns to display.
Change Display to Time of Day While Using the
Timer
Push MIN/SEC TIMER and COOK TIME buttons at the
same time. Display shows time of day. Arrow remains
in display above the MIN/SEC TIMER indicating the
timer is in use. When time elapses, a signal sounds
and arrow disappears from display. To check time re-
maining on MIN/SEC TIMER , press the MIN/SEC
TIMER button.

Baking

1. Turn the selector knob to MANUAL .
2. Push in and turn either the lower or upper oven tem-
perature control knob to desired temperature. The
heated casserole dish symbol is displayed.
The oven can be preheated approximately 10 minutes
before placing food inside, if needed. Some minor
smoking is normal when using the oven for the first time.
A nontoxic protective coating applied to the inside of the
oven cavity will burn off.
When finished baking, turn TEMPERATURE CONTROL
KNOB to OFF .
Important Note: Oven fans may operate during baking
to cool electrical components.

Automatic Baking

1. Place food in oven.
2. Push COOK TIME button. Turn the SET TIME knob
to the amount of time the food should cook. The
time can be set up to 11 hours and 59 minutes.
3. Turn selector dial to either UPPER TIMED or
LOWER TIMED depending on which oven is to be
used. A timed function can only be used in one oven
at a time.
4. Push in and turn the upper or lower oven tempera-
ture control knob to desired temperature.
An arrow will flash over the STOP TIME button. A solid
arrow over the COOK TIME button and the heated cas-
serole dish will light in the display. When the cooking
time has elapsed, a signal will sound. Return to time of
day by pressing both MIN/SEC TIMER and COOK TIME
buttons.
Cancel the signal by pushing the COOK TIME button.
Turn temperature control to OFF when finished. To can-
cel remaining cooking time, turn SET TIME knob until
display reads 0:00.

Delayed Baking

1. Place food in oven.
2. Clock must display correct time of day.
3. Push in the COOK TIME button. Turn the SET
TIME knob to the desired cooking time. The time
can be set up to 11 hours and 59 minutes.
4. Push in the STOP TIME button. The earliest pos-
sible stop time will appear in the display. Turn the
SET TIME knob to set desired stopping time.
5. Turn the selector to UPPER TIMED or LOWER
TIMED depending on which oven is used.
6. Push in and turn the upper or lower oven tempera-
ture control knob to the desired temperature.
The clock will display the stop time. When the oven be-
gins heating the heating casserole dish will light in the
display. An arrow will flash over the COOK TIME. A
solid arrow will remain over STOP TIME until the set
cooking time elapses. When cooking time elapses, a
signal sounds. Return to time of day by pressing both
MIN/SEC TIMER and COOK TIME buttons.
Cancel the signal by pushing the COOK TIME button.
Turn temperature control to OFF and turn selector knob
to MANUAL .
The remaining cooking time can be canceled by follow-
ing the instructions below.
1. Push COOK TIME button. Turn SET TIME knob un-
til display reads 0:00.
2. Turn the temperature control knob to OFF .
3. Turn the selector knob to MANUAL .
Important Note: A timed function can only be used in
one oven at a time. If one oven is being used with a
timed function the other oven can be operated using the
temperature control knob.
Food should be removed from the oven when cooking
time has expired. Food left in the oven will overcook.
