Messages

These are the main messages that appear on the machine's display to prompt correct operation. They do not indi-
cate any error. Follow the prompts and take action accordingly.

Only a small amount of ink remains.
Replace the ink cartridge indicated by the flashing number with a new cartridge.

PRESS THE POWER KEY TO CLEAN

This message appears when the machine has not been used for approximately a month.
Turn on the sub power once a month.

CIRCULATING INK

White ink is being circulated inside the machine. This action is automatically performed to clear the white ink
precipitation.
Wait until the displayed message changes.

SHAKE WHITE INK CARTRIDGE

This message appears when an action is selected under "ACTION" (including "CIRCULATE") in the start timer
settings.
Remove the white ink cartridge, shake it 50 times (about 20 seconds) with a stroke length of around 5 cm (2 in.)
from each end, and then reinsert it. Afterwards, press [ENTER] to switch off the sub power.

SET/REMOVE CARTRIDGE

This message appears at times such as during ink cartridge replacement.
Insert or remove the ink cartridge indicated by the flashing number.

CLOSE XXX COVER DRY-UP MAY DAMAGE THE HEAD

The front cover or panel cover is open.
Close the front cover or panel cover or both. If the message is left displayed, the print heads may get dry, resulting
in malfunction.

CLOSE XXX COVER

The front cover or panel cover is open when setting the start timer.
Close the front cover or panel cover or both. If the message is left displayed, setting the timer will not be complet-
ed.
