How to Replace Consumable Parts

Replacing the Wipers and Wiper Cleaner

The wipers and wiper cleaner are consumables that you use when cleaning the print heads. They need to be re-
placed at appropriate intervals.
When the following screen is displayed, it is time to replace the wiper.

Be sure to perform operations as specified by the instructions, and never touch any area
CAUTION
not specified in the instructions.
Otherwise sudden movement of the machine may cause injury.
IMPORTANT
• A warning beep sounds 10 minutes after operation begins. If the warning beep is heard, temporarily stop work, close the front
cover, and press [ENTER]. Quit the wiper replacement menu. After that, restart the procedure from the beginning.
• Be sure to hold the handle of the front cover and open and close it gently.

Replace the wipers.
Procedure
1.
Press [ENTER] when the following screen appears.

Remove the object to be printed on.

Press [MENU].

Press [▼] to display the screen shown below.

After "NOW PROCESSING.." is displayed and the operation for wiper replacement is performed, the screen
