Voltage supply
The supply cable for the voltage supply should be kept as short as possible. For cable lengths up
to 20 m the cable should have 2×0.5 mm
be accordingly increased. For power consumption of the system please refer to section "technical
data".
5.2.7
Sensor connection (connections S1–4 and E1–4)
The sensor cable SCI20-S is connected at the control unit by plug.
Because of the special wiring of the sensor cable SCI20S it is no longer necessary to avoid mixing
transmitter and receiver cable. When using the SCI20S cable the transmitting sensor and the
receiving sensor will automatically be connected to the appropriate sockets of the control unit.

Connecting diagram - examples

All sensor pairs are connected in the same manner.
Because of the special wiring of the sensor cable SCI20S it is no longer necessary to avoid mixing
transmitter and receiver cable. When using the SCI20S cable the transmitting sensor and the
receiving sensor will automatically be connected to the appropriate sockets of the control unit.
