Click on the 'Emptying' button and then the boiler will start emptying through the purge
hole of the solenoid valve and the air purge.
Once the established time has passed, the solenoid valves will close, leaving the boiler
empty.
You can then carry out the necessary maintenance to the boiler (changing the element,
changing fittings, etc.).
When you have finished maintenance, you can start refilling the boiler by pressing the
'Filling' button. From this point, the boiler will fill up again up to the level shown on the
gauge.
To turn the machine on again, you need to come out of maintenance mode, pressing
on the same icon again, because while the small maintenance icon is visible and
flashing the machine will neither heat up nor operate.
7.2 EMPTYING COFFEE GROUPS
This screen displays the following information:
• Current temperature of each
group.
• Countdown of the time remaining
before emptying is complete.
• 'Emptying' or 'Cooling' button.
If the temperature is over 88 °C,
'Cooling' will appear. If you
press this instruction, the group
will go into operation until the
temperature drops to 88 °C, at
which point the screen will change
to 'Emptying'.
Press the 'Emptying' button and then the group or groups will start emptying through
the purge hole of the solenoid valve and the air purge.
After 1.5 minutes the solenoid valve will close, leaving the group ready for
maintenance.
When you have finished maintenance, you can start refilling the group by pressing
the 'Filling' button. At this point the group will fill up again until completely saturated,
expelling air through the purge solenoid valve on the upper right-hand side of the
group.
To turn the machine back on again, exit maintenance mode by pressing the icon again,
because while the small icon is visible and flashing the machine will neither heat up nor
operate.
