Plug the 25-pair switch cable into the connecting unit insert.

Rotate Z5A Retainer to the closed position while pushing on the jack panel flex tab
(see Note).
Note: When closed, the retainer is held by the flex tab. The retainer is
positioned against the 25-pair connector to keep it from working loose.

Route the cable straight up from the connecting unit and through the cable guides
on the jack panel and support (see Figure 2-54). Make sure that the cable is
completely and properly inserted in each guide (particularly the top guide) or jack
panel may not close (or subsequently open) properly.

Repeat steps 2 through 8 for all cables that are to be installed in the first
connector module.

Rotate jack panel to closed position until an audible snap is heard (see Note).
Note: The first time new cables are installed in a connector module, efforts
to close the jack panel may be greater than expected. This is a normal
condition as all 25-pair cables are being rotated and are bending for the first
time. Efforts required to close the jack panel after the initial closing will be
noticeably less.
11.
Repeat steps 1 through 10 for each connector module until all cables are installed.
"D" rings can be installed approximately halfway between the top of the cable

slack manager and the bottom of each connector module to hold the cables against
the wall.
