PROGRAMMING
MEANING
Enables/disables storage of incoming
documents in memory when there is no
paper or ink left.
Automatically reduces received and
copied documents to a minimum of 70%
of the size of the original document.
The reduction values are: 70%, 73%,
76%, 80%, 84%, 89%, 94%.
Recommended values: for A4 docu-
ments: 94%; for Letter documents: 89%;
for Legal documents: disable the fea-
ture.
Enables printing of what lies outside the
A4 format on another sheet.
Enables documents inserted in the ADF
to be stored automatically.
Enables/disables automatic deletion of
a previously stored document after all
transmission retries even if transmission
was not completed successfully.
Enables/disables automatic deletion of
a previously stored document after a
polling transmission operation.
Enables/disables automatic retransmis-
sion of pages on which transmission
errors occurred. This function can only
be enabled if the document has been
stored in memory.
Sets the transmission speed to 4800
BPS. The transmission speed selected
by default on the facsimile machine is
9600 B/S.
