MODEL CI CUSTOMER ENGINEERING
pivots the margin-control bellcrank which performs
three actions:
1. Allows the escapement pawl to restore by
un-
latching the intermediate-pawl-release lever from
the pawl-release bellcrank.
2. Unlatches the clutch by rotating the carriage-re-
turn-tab interlock.
3. Cushions the shock of carriage return by operat-
ing the centrifugal-governor through the carriage-
return-decelerator bellcrank. (Refer to Decelerator
section of this manual).
Removal
Refer to Model Bl section.
Adjustments
1. CAM CLEARANCE. Refer to Model CI, Space-
bar, Adjustment

2. CAM-RELEASE LINK. Adjust so that the cam
is released when the keylever is depressed from %
to full normal trave1. This will allow the cam to re-
peat when the plunger has been depressed
n".
3. FRONT CLUTCH-LEVER LINK. Adjust so that
there is a clearance of .010" to .030" between the con-
