• Check that the condensate produced during
operation fills the syphon and is regularly
drained in the draining pipe.
• Switch off the boiler by pressing the 13 (Fig.
7.11) key for 2 seconds until the
symbol appears on the LCD display (Fig.
7.10).
• Press the 14 key for 2 seconds until
symbol appear on the display Fig. 7.11.
The LCD display displays the boiler tem-
perature (primary circuit) and the
symbol; the symbol slowly flashes Fig.
7.12.
The boiler will now go through an ignition se-
quence and the burner will light.
If after four ignition attempts (about four min-
utes) the boiler does not function and a code
that precedes the letter E and the writing RE-
SET appear on the LCD display, it indicates
that the safety lock-out has stopped the boiler.
The display background flashes (Fig. 7.13).

For the first lighting up and following mainte-
nance procedures for the gas supply, it may
be necessary to repeat the resetting operation
several times so as to remove the air present
in the pipework.
After five consecutive resetting attempts the
reset button is inhibited. To restore its func-
tion it is necessary to switch the boiler off and
on from the electrical mains, using the fused
COMMISSIONING
spur isolation switch fitted adjacent to the ap-
pliance.

With the burner on high flame close the gas
cock.

indicates that the safety lock-out has stopped

7.10 Checking the flue system

The flue system should be visually checked
for soundness. Check all clamps, gaskets and
fixing are secure and tight.
Ensure that the flue terminal is sited correctly
in accordance with the flue fitting instructions
and Fig. 5.1 on page 32 of this manual.
To carry out a combustion check refer to the
instructions given in the section "Combustion
analysis check" on page 74 of this manual.
Reference figures are given in the "Technical
Data" section (pag. 28 Inovia 25S ERP) of
this manual (Flue gas figures).
