Removing the Paper Roll from the Printer

To remove an empty roll of thermal paper from the
printer:
1. Place the terminal on a flat, stable surface.
2. Insert two fingers
compartment cover, beneath the release latch.
3. Pull the latch up until the cover unlocks.
4. Lift the paper compartment cover until it is fully open, as
illustrated in Figure 12-1 "Opening the Paper Compartment"
on page 26.
5. Lift the paper roll with its spindle out of the paper
compartment.
