Reading the DPCD of a downstream MST node.
Use the following procedures to read the EDID of any downstream MST Rx node. Currently the DPCD button
shown on the left panel of the Topology window is not functional. To read the DPCD of a downstream not you
have to use the DPCD read function in the Tools menu.
To read the DPCD of a downstream MST Rx node:
1. From the main window of the 980 DP Video Generator / Analyzer module, select the Tools tab.
2. Select DPCD Decode and select the virtual port (downstream MST node) whose DPCD you wish to read.
