21.1 Overview

This chapter shows you how to manage the X2002's authority groups and
outbound line groups.
Group management allows you to control the types of calls made via the X2002.
See the following figure for what you can configure in the group management.
A - You can allow or disallow an extension group (defined in the authority group,
AG) to call extensions in other extension group(s).
B - You can manage the types of outgoing calls that extensions within authority
groups can make.
C - You can manage incoming calls that callers from outside your organization can
make using different interfaces.
You grant calling rights by creating associations or links between the various
logical entities configured on the X2002.
