Internet Fax Kit - Troubleshooting
Cause
The Internet Fax unit has been
damaged.
The Internet Fax unit has been
damaged.
The destination is not found.
The machine cannot connect to the
SMTP server.
Host Name is not set correctly.
Your E-mail address is not set
correctly.
The SMTP server address is not
assigned.
Cause
The Network Interface Card does not
work properly while trapping.
Cause
The machine receives an invalid MIB
request.
Replace the Internet Fax unit.
Confirm the sending or forwarding
address is correct.
Confirm the setting of "SMTP Server
Address" that the IP address of the
SMTP server correctly assigned. If
this Error Message is repeatedly
displayed, check if the settings on the
mail server are correctly setup or the
mail server.
Set the "Host Name" correctly.
Set the "E-mail Address" correctly.
Set the "SMTP Server Address".
Power your machine off, then back
on. If the error condition is cleared,
confirm normal operation. If this
Error Message is repeatedly dis-
played, the Network Interface Card or
Internet Fax unit should be replaced.
Confirm the sender's computer has
no problems. If this Error Message is
repeatedly displayed, the Network
Interface Card or Internet Fax unit
should be replaced.
