When scanning in Binary mode (Line art), document type and
a suitable pre-set pattern relationship is shown as follows:
- The horizontal axis shows the darkness/color of the back-
ground against the text/lines on the documents.
- The vertical axis shows the darkness of the text and lines on
the documents.
