    ■ Safety Precautions WARNING The following describes important warnings described in this manual. Do not touch the AC cable with wet hands. Do not insert or disconnect the power plug with wet hands. Doing so might cause electric shock. Do not damage the AC cable. A damaged AC cable might cause fire or electric shock.

    ■ Function of Button / LED Button Function Name Turns on/off when the main line switch is set to “I”. Starts scanning in test mode. Send to/Start Clears the error if this button is pushed while the Check lamp is on or is Stop blinking.

    2.1 Installing the Scanner The following shows the procedure for installing the scanner. ■ The cautions of placement 1. Place the scanner to the installing area. Refer to the "Operator’s Guide" stored in the “User Manual (CD-ROM)” about the dimension of the scanner, and a space required for installation.
