Do not attempt to straighten a bent shaft;
this may dangerously weaken the shaft.

CHECKING THE GEAR MOTOR

1. Check:

a. Connect two C size batteries to the gear
• Do not use a 12 V battery to operate the
• Do not connect the batteries to the gear
È Check that the pinion gear 2 turns counter-
É Check that the pinion gear 2 turns clockwise.
NOTE:
Do not disassemble the gear motor.

Molybdenum disulfide grease is included in the
repair kit.

Loose → Replace the front drive shaft.
